Soft baiting, light tackle and live baiting would be the most popular methods on our charters, the 50/50 chance of landing a big Snapper or Kingfish always provides a great challenge.

Game fishing out at Great Barrier Island is definitely a passion of ours and if the fish are there we certainly enjoy presenting opportunities.

Salt water fly fishing is excellent all year round at Great Barrier, Snapper in the ultra shallows through to Kingfish and even the occasional Skipjack Tuna in the summer months.
Note: We do not provide fly gear.

Free diving for crays and snapper in the shallows around the outermost islands is superb at Great Barrier Island.  The scallops have also been a welcome addition to the table from the BBQ.
